I had a cheaper Ryobi that I got 4 years out of, and a different brand that only lasted me a year (I don’t remember what it was, it was red and sold at Walmart, I do know that). I’ve decided that I like electric power washers because I can keep them inside, I don’t have to winterize them, and they’re quieter than gas.
This Greenworks washer is the best one I’ve had so far, but it has a few issues. First, the cord is way too long. I realize this is a positive for some people, but not for me. I power wash on my deck and I have an outlet right there. The cord is just a nuisance. Second, the spray tips seem cheap. They work fine, but they just feel like low quality plastic. My last washer had brass tips and they felt substantial.
This washer has more power than my last two, so that’s a big positive. It was easy to assemble and it looks nice. I have several other Greenworks tools (hedge trimmer, leaf blower) and they’ve been good to me, so I’m optimistic that this power washer will last.
I was able to get my deck, siding, and driveway power washed in a weekend and this washer did a great job. If it lasts me more than a year, I’ll be happy.
